Being surrounded by nature, playing sports and having fun, all at the same time, is what makes it so successful.
You can do the journey with children with a minimum height of 1,15ms. (always providing they are able to swim). This height is usually reached with 6 or 7 years old, although there are children with 5 years old that are in this range.
Between the ages 5-12 years old (inclusive), we offer a discounted price.
Furthermore, you can also do the journey with your dog, and of course, it’s free. They’ll have a great time! In addition, you can rent a lifejacket for your pet for 4€. This cost, also includes a snack for your dog.
During your journey along the Sella, you will find several small bars, where you can rest and have a drink. There are also pools where you are able to bathe and “river beaches”; small areas where you are able to stop and eat. You’ll have a great time!!!
The starting point of the activity, is at our Headquarters in Arriondas.
The Tour length options that can be choosen, are as follows:
Departure times, are between 11:00 AM and 13:30 PM. By 18:00 PM you must be out of the water, and at one of the three collection points listed above, as regulated by The Confederación Hidrográfica del Cantábrico.
- 7 Kilometers – approximately 2 hours
- 14 Kilometers – approximately 3 hours and a half
- 17 Kilometers – approximately 4 hours
Material that we provide
- Canoe
- Ores

- Wetsuit (if weather conditions require it)
- Raincoat (if weather conditions require it)
- Watertight barrel
What do you need to bring?
- Swimsuit
- Shoes suitable for water (for example, used trainers that you can get wet)
- Clothes and shoes to change into, after the activity
- Towel
- We highly recommended you bring a mobile phone (if any issues arise along the route, you have the ability to call us)
We advise that:
- You wear sun cream
- You bring a hat
At the end...
We’ll take you back to the base where you can shower and regain your energy. NOT ENABLED DUE TO THE ANTICOVID PROTOCOL THAT THE COMPANY HAS INSTAURED
We have several 9 seater vans and two coaches for transfers from our offices to our headquarters, and to take you from the river to your office of origin and/or to our headquarters in Arriondas (video directions).
To transport children, we have regulation approved car seats.

Individual and Groups of up to 10 people:
20€ / person (making early booking)
For Groups of 11 people and above:
- From 11 to 20 people: 18€ / person (making early booking)
- From 21 to 40 people: 16€ / person (making early booking)
Groups over 41 people:
price on request
For children:
5 to 12 years (inclusive): 13,50€ / child. (making early booking)
These prices include all the materials needed: canoe; paddle; life jacket; wet suit and raincoat if necessary, transportation from our office (in high season July & August, we collect regularly from our office in Ribadesella), and the return from the activity collection points to your office of origin. Transport back from the end point of the activity to our headquarters in Arriondas, runs regularly.
In addition to this, Liability insurance, is included.
